Ford Explorer Hybrid

If you’re looking for a big and powerful SUV that’s not a gas-guzzler, we’ve got it. Get to know the new Ford Explorer Hybrid.

Power and Performance

The Ford Explorer Hybrid comes with a 3.3-liter V6 engine and an electric motor that combine to put out 318 horsepower and 322 lb-ft of torque. This is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and four-wheel drive is available.

This SUV has excellent handling, and even some sportiness. It also has some off-road prowess. In addition to four-wheel drive, you can get yours with hill descent control.

Gas Mileage

For a large SUV, the Ford Explorer Hybrid has very good gas mileage: 27 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway with rear-wheel drive. If you opt for four-wheel drive, you will get 23 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway.

Space and Comfort

The Ford Explorer Hybrid has a big cabin that can accommodate up to seven people. Heated and ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, and a power-folding third row are all standard.

The cargo space in this SUV is excellent: 18.2 cubic feet behind the third row, 47.9 cubic feet when it’s down, and a total of 87.8 cubic feet with all rear seats folded. A hands-free liftgate comes standard.
