2023 Ford Explorer

If you’re always thinking one step ahead – or perhaps one year ahead – with your purchases, you may be interested in talking to a Ford Explorer dealer about the 2023 model coming out soon. These are the enticing details we have so far on this SUV.

Power

The 2023 Ford Explorer will come with three engine choices. The base is a turbocharged 2.3-liter powertrain that puts out 300 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. There’s a 3.3-liter V6 version that offers 318 horsepower and 322 lb-ft of torque.

For the most power, you’ll want the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that produces 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic is paired with all models. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and four-wheel drive is available.

Space

If you go with second-row captain’s chairs in your Ford Explorer, you’ll be able to fit up to six people. Replacing those with a bench seat increases the passenger capacity to seven.

Power-adjustable front seats and cloth upholstery come standard. Upgrades include heated and ventilated front and second-row seats, genuine leather upholstery, and a power-folding third row.

Tech and Safety

Every 2023 Ford Explorer comes loaded with the latest features. Android Auto™, Apple CarPlay®, and a Wi-Fi hot spot will all be standard. You will also get satellite radio, Bluetooth®, and USB ports.

As for safety, all models will have blind spot monitoring, forward automatic emergency braking, and rear cross-traffic alert.
