Seven 2021 Ford F-150 Trim Levels to Choose From

Thinking about a new Ford F-150? The easy part is over. The hard part is figuring out which trim is right for you, as there are seven choices:

Ford F-150 XL

The base Ford F-150 – like all trims except for the top – comes standard with a 290-horsepower 3.3-liter V6 engine, a 10-speed automatic transmission, and rear-wheel drive. You will also get:

  • A Wi-Fi hot spot
  • USB ports
  • An 8-inch touchscreen

Ford F-150 XLT

You’ll get everything with the base trim in the XLT, along with blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, and rear parking sensors.

Ford F-150 Lariat

The Lariat trim comes standard with the SuperCab and the 6.5-foot bed, which includes BoxLink adjustable tie-down cleats. It also features:

  • Leather upholstery
  • Heated and ventilated front seats
  • Power-adjustable front seats
  • Remote start
  • Push-button start
  • A 12-inch touchscreen

Ford F-150 King Ranch

The King Ranch only comes with the SuperCrew cab. This trim also has the 5.5-foot bed standard. Other standard features include:

  • Heated rear seats
  • An in-bed power outlet
  • Wireless device charging
  • HD radio
  • Navigation
  • Front parking sensors
  • Adaptative cruise control
  • Intersection assist

Ford F-150 Platinum

You’ll get the 6.5-foot bed with the Platinum trim, along with massaging front seats, power-deployable running boards, and traffic sign recognition.

Ford F-150 Limited

The Limited trim has the same cab/bed combo as the King Ranch. You will also get:

  • A power tailgate with deployable step
  • Trailer backup assist
  • Trailer reverse guidance
  • Parallel and perpendicular park assist
  • A surround-view parking camera system

Ford F-150 Tremor

Available later this year is the Tremor trim, which comes with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost® V6 engine, 10-speed automatic transmission, and 4-wheel drive. There are loads of features that make this truck ideal for off-roading, such as:

  • A front bash plate
  • Hill descent control
  • 33-inch all-terrain tires
  • An upgraded suspension system
